Mark Gonsalves

Mark Gonsalves was a portfolio scholar at Parsons School of Design and mentee of the ETL C.A.S.H. Program and College Tour. He has participated in many other youth programs, such as The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, MOMA, BAM and Cooper Hewitt. His involvement motivated him to serve as a mentor in the C.A.S.H. Program and volunteer for several nonprofit arts organizations. Mark hopes to continue to advocate higher education and talent.

La-Toya Niles is a senior at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College with a major in Marketing and a double minor in Psychology and Anthropology.  La-Toya has always had an inner passion for speaking to others and using her creativity to think up new and innovative ideas. This passion has become a smoldering fire within the walls at Baruch College and she intends to take advantage of all it has to offer. She will graduate in June 2011.

Patrick Delices

Patrick Delices is a Research Assistant/Fellow at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Patrick serves as Senior Vice President of 4Ts Productions. He chairs the Career Committee at the Columbia University Club of New York, and serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. He mentors undergraduate students of color at Columbia University and serves as Treasurer for Columbia University’s Black Alumni Council. Patrick recently published "The Digital Economy" in the Journal of International Affairs. Patrick is a dual degree candidate, holding an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and completing an MPA at Columbia University.

Asata Glasgow

Asata Glasgow

After Asata Glasgow completes her MBA at Long Island University, she aspires to build a successful career in corporate finance. Her immediate goal is to become a CFA. The magnanimity of organizations like UNICEF and the UN has held her interests and she intends to volunteer with these organizations to promote education and fundraising initiatives. Asata hopes to make important economic and social contributions, giving to a more cohesive society by building trust and reciprocity among citizens. Asata looks forward to this experience as it will be both challenging and rewarding, and require the use of her skills in a new context.
Chacine McCoy

Chacine McCoy

Chacine McCoy was born and raised in Harlem, New York.  She was the only black female graduate of Syracuse University Class of 2007 to receive a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Chacine is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, NSBE, and the Abyssinian Baptist Church. After graduation, she worked as Construction Manager with a specialty in LEED projects “Green Building.” She soon enrolled at the St. John’s University MBA program with a concentration in finance and international business. She will be studying aboard with St. John’s in Rome, Italy, to gain a global approach on today’s world economy. As Chacine continues to crack the ‘glass ceiling’ of the Construction & Real Estate Development industry, her goal to become the CEO of an international firm will soon be a reality.

Patrick Spann’s journey to a career in corporate strategy has had stops in several diverse environments. After graduating from Cornell University with an engineering degree in Operations Research, Patrick secured five promotions in 5 years at Miller Brewing Company. As he completes an MBA in marketing from Fordham University, Patrick works as Director of Sales & Marketing with Wine Cellar Sorbets, a local CPG, while serving as Co-President of Fordham’s Marketing Society and high school mentor for the Metro NY Chapter’s NBMBAA C.A.S.H. Program.

Chavon Sutton

Chavon Sutton

Chavon Sutton graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After graduation, she worked as a credit risk management analyst for Bank of America, followed by nearly two years as a Corporate Banking Associate for RBC Capital Markets. In 2010, she earned a Masters degree in Journalism at NYU, where she published nearly 200 articles as a general finance and global markets reporter for Forbes.com, Reuters and CNNMoney.com. While at NYU Stern, Chavon will concentrate in Financial Instruments & Markets and Global Business in pursuit of a career in Sales & Trading.
