DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Duties of All Executive Board Members:
Determine the organization's mission and purpose and review these on an annual basis.
Ensure effective organizational planning.
Determine and monitor the organization's programs and services.
Ensure the Metro NY Chapter follows its strategic directions and goals.
Evaluate the organization’s success in achieving stated goals.


Executive Board Qualifications:
Must have an MBA degree
Financial of NBMBAA for at least two years prior to time of nomination
All except, Recording Secretary – must have held a previous leadership position at the Chapter level or have a minimum of ten years business experience
Demonstrated leadership abilities
High degree of professionalism
Actively engaged in the organization and/or the profession
Able and willing to advance the association

Time Commitment
Board members attend monthly board meetings and conference calls each year. Additionally, board members participate in meetings and ongoing communication with their assigned committees, task forces and/or work groups.
